Arrests and incidents for Dec. 23 through Jan. 2
Arrests
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on January, 1, 2008, around 11:50
p.m.in the area of Prince William Parkway and Old Bridge Road in
Woodbridge. Police on patrol conducted a traffic stop and arrested
Britney Ann Klotz, 19, of 12550 Bristerburg Road, Midland, and Vicente
Paul Fernandes, 20, 12325 Purcell Road, Manassas, each on the charge.
Search incident to arrest, the officer located the drugs. Klotz and
Fernandes were each released on a summons and have a court date of
February 13, 2008.
Possession of Marijuana, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), occurred on
January 1, 2008, around 11:55 p.m. in the area of Jefferson Davis
Highway and Graham Park Road in Dumfries. Police on patrol conducted a
traffic stop and arrested John Earl Tolbert, 44, of 703 Windbridge
Drive, Stafford, on the charges. Initially Tolbert was arrested for the
DUI, search incident to arrest, the officer found the drugs. Tolbert
was held on $2,000 bond and his court date was not available.
Possession of Schedule I Substance (hallucinogenic mushrooms),
Possession of Marijuana 3x, occurred on January 2, 2008, around 12:50
a.m. in the 17100 block of Mine Road in Montclair. Police on patrol
observed a suspicious vehicle and stopped to investigate. Arrested
were:
** Ashleigh Elizabeth Wallace, 19, 3939 Brickert Court, Lake Ridge,
charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Schedule I
Substance (hallucinogenic mushrooms)
**Charles Edward McNich, 28, of 13392 Dogues Terrace, Woodbridge,
charged with Possession of Marijuana.
**Leah McDowell, 18, of 5294 Gunston Hall, Woodbridge, charged with
Possession of Marijuana.
Bond and court date information were not available.
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, occurred on January 1,
2008, around 4;20 a.m. in the 5200 block of Quince Court in Dale City.
Arrested was Jason Andrew Nicholson, 30, of 4804 Harrison Road,
Fredericksburg, on the charge. Police officers were investigating a
separate incident. Further investigation revealed that Nicholson was in
possession of a handgun. Nicholson was held without bond and has a
court date of February 12, 2008.
Incidents
Shooting at an Occupied Dwelling, occurred on December 31, 2007, around
4:00 a.m. in the 14600 block of Fox Glove Court in Woodbridge. The
victim reported that a window located in her kitchen had been shot at.
The window was shot at several times with a bb gun. There were no
personal injuries reported.
Statutory Burglary, occurred between December 25, 2007, around midnight,
and January 1, 2008, around 1:30 a.m. in the 6000 block of Ponhill Drive
in Woodbridge. The victim reported that his house was rummaged through
and had jewelry, a camcorder, and a stereo system stolen. The total
amount of the stolen property is $2,700. Entry was gained by forcing
the basement door opened.
Grand Larceny of a Mortorcycle, occurred on December 31, 2007, between
1:00-9:00 a.m. in the 1900 unit block of Briar Rose Lane in Lake Ridge.
A 2003, Honda, CBR600, black in color, valued at $3,000 was stolen. The
victim had parked the motorcycle in the apartment complex's parking lot.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on December 23, 2007, around 10:00 a.m.
in the 3200 block of Foothill Street in Woodbridge. A 2004, Ford, F150,
truck, black in color, valued at $10,000 was take by the victim's
roommate. A warrant for Felony Unauthorized Use has been obtained for
Milton Rodriguez, 39, 6'1" tall, bald, brown eyes, last known address of
3237 Foothill Street, Woodbridge. Rodriguez is accused of taking the
victim's truck when he moved out of the residence.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between December 30, 2007, around 8:00
p.m. and December 31, 2007, around 6:00 p.m. in the 4100 block of La
Mauricie Loop in Dumfries. A 2003, Cadillac, Deville, 4-door, white in
color, valued at $19,000. The victim had parked his vehicle in front of
his residence.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between December 30, 2007, around 6;30
p.m. and December 31, 2008, around 6;00 a.m. in the 1900 unit block of
Briar Rose Lane in Woodbridge. The victim reported that several vehicle
parts were removed and stolen from her 2003, Nissan, Altima. The auto
parts that were stolen were the front grill, battery cables, radiator,
two airbags, and the dashboard. The total amount of the stolen property
is $1,775. The victim had parked her vehicle in the apartment building
;parking lot.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between December 30, 2007, around 9:45
p.m. and December 31, 2007, around 5:54 a.m. in the 12700 block of Wood
Hollow Drive in Woodbridge. The victim reported that two airbags were
removed and stolen from his 2004, Acura, RSX. The total amount of the
stolen property is $2,000.
