Arrests and incidents reported by police on Feb. 8.
Arrests:
Possession of Schedule II Drug (Cocaine), occurred on February 5, 2008, around 10:20 p.m. on Kinnicutt Drive at Brook Farm Court in Woodbridge. Police responded to a suspicious vehicle call and arrested Tanya Kimberly Mahmoud, 22, of 15596 Traverser Court in Dale City on the charge. She was released on a $2,500 bond and has a court date of June 4, 2008.
Incidents:
Strong Armed Robbery & Conspiracy, occurred on February 5, 2008, between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the 15200 block of Lord Culpeper Court in Woodbridge. The 39-year-old male victim from Aldie reported that he was at the location when a man approached him and demanded money. The victim complied and the man drove away in a blue Toyota Corolla. The accused is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 30. He is about 5’10” and weighs approximately 180 pounds. His hair was worn in dreadlocks at the time of the incident. Police are also seeking a white female who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident. She is between the ages of 23 and 25, about 5’6” and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Grand Larceny, occurred between February 2, 2008, around 2 p.m. and February 3, 2008, around 7 a.m. in the 12800 block of Noltland Castle Drive in Bristow. The victim reported that an iPod and an iPod accessory were stolen from the residence. There was no sign of forced entry. The total amount of property stolen is $379.
Grand Larceny, occurred on February 4, 2008, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the 14700 block of Barksdale Street in Dale City. The victim reported that a two-month-old brown & white Pit Bull was stolen from the residence’s fenced back yard. There was no sign of forced entry. The total amount of property stolen is $250.
Grand Larceny, occurred between February 4, 2008, around 11:30 p.m. and February 5, 2008, around 6 a.m. in the 14100 block of Baneberry Circle in Dale City. The victim reported that more than two dozen boxes of wire were stolen from the back patio of the residence. The items were not secured. The total amount of property stolen is $2,000.
Grand Larceny, occurred around February 4, 2008, in the 4000 block of Anderson Road in Triangle. The victim reported that a 6-foot bush hog was stolen from the location. It is not known how entry was gained. The total amount of property stolen was $1,500.
Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred between February 4, 2008, around 10 p.m. and February 5, 2008, around 9:30 a.m. in the 1300 unit block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a GPS system and an iPod were stolen from the vehicle, which was parked in the residence lot. A driver’s side front window was broken to gain entry. The total amount of property stolen is $200.
Statutory Burglary, occurred between February 4, 2008, around 8 p.m. and February 5, 2008, around 8 a.m. at a business in the 14700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. The victim reported that someone forced open a side door to the business. It is unknown if entry was gained.
