Police: Vandal caught in the act
On 12-26-08, at approximately 12:15 a.m. Officer K.M. Strobel observed a teen spray-painting graffiti on a retaining wall located on Minnieville Road near Telegraph Road in Lake Ridge. The suspect ran from the scene when Officer Strobel attempted to make contact with him. Officer Strobel chased the suspect for a short distance before apprehending him. He was taken into custody and was placed inside the police car. While inside the police vehicle, he allegedly kicked a rear passenger door, damaging the frame.Craig Douglas Arundale, 19, of no fixed address was charged with Destruction of Property, Destruction of Private Property, and Obstruction of Justice. Arundale was held on $10,000 bond and has a court date of January 19, 2009.
