Board of County Supervisors sets agenda for Dec. 2

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. in the Board Chamber of the James J. McCoart Administration Building.

During the 2 p.m. meeting, the Board will vote to adopt the 2009 Legislative Program, hold various public hearings and conduct other routine county business.

At the 7:30 p.m. meeting, the board will consider a special use permit for the Tuong Van Monastery in the Gainesville Magisterial District. The board will also consider special use permits for T-Mobile Northeast at Youth for Tomorrow, Goddard School at Linton Hall Road, and an Innovation Center Sign Modification, which are all in the Brentsville Magisterial District. In addition, the board will consider a rezoning for Orchard Glen in the Gainesville Magisterial District and a housing update to a Comprehensive Plan Amendment.

The board’s agenda is available to the public 24 hours a day by accessing the county’s Web site at www.pwcgov.org/bocs.

Board meetings are streamed live and archived on the County’s Web site at http://www.pwcgov.org/MeetingRoom.aspx.

The board meetings are aired live on The Prince William Channel (Channel 23 on Comcast and Channel 37 on Verizon) on Tuesdays as scheduled, and are repeated Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.
