Police reports: 4-30

Arrests and incidents reported by police on April 30.

Arrests

Possession of Marijuana, occurred on April 24, 2008, around 6:45 p.m. in
the area of Wayside Drive and Cosgrove Way in Woodbridge. A patrol
officer conducted Jeffery Larey, 24, of Blue Pool Drive,
Woodbridge, on the charge. Larey was released on a summons and has a
court date of June 13, 2008.

Possession of Marijuana, occurred on April 29, 2008, around 6:40 p.m. in
the 3700 block of Wertz Drive in Woodbridge. Patrol officers responded
to investigate a suspicious vehicle complaint. Arrested were Joseph
Thomas Silva, 19, of Keswick Court, Dumfries, and David Michael
Miller, 19, of Willow Point Drive, Falls Church, each on the
charge. Silva and Miller were each released on a summons and have a
court date of June 13, 2008.

Possession of Marijuana, occurred on April 30, 2008, around 12:26 p.m.
in the area of Old Bridge Road and Springwoods Drive in Lake Ridge. A
patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Crystal Leeann
Beavers, 24, of Quebec Place, Woodbridge, on the charge. Beavers
was released on a summons and has a court date of June 9, 2008.

Incidents

Home Invasion, Armed Robbery, occurred on April 30, 2008, between
12:30-1:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Idaho Street in Woodbridge. Six
victims reported that a group of male suspects knocked on the front door
of their residence and forced their way into the house. The suspects
had their faces covered with ski masks and one with a bandana. All the
suspects were armed with hand guns. The victims were each tied up and
the house was searched through by the suspects. Two male victims, a
19-year-old and a 26-year-old were each struck on their head with a
blunt object. The 26-year-old victim was treated a local hospital for a
laceration he received on his head. The suspects relieved some of the
victims of their cash and a cell phone. There were between six and nine
suspects. They were described as Black and Hispanic males, some
between 20-22-years-old. One of Hispanic male suspects had long black
hair. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery, occurred on April 29, 2008, around 11:14 p.m. at a
convenience store located in the 1700 block of Featherstone Road in
Woodbridge. The 30-year-old store clerk reported that the suspect
entered the store, armed with a knife, and demanded money. The suspect
took an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers and left. The
suspect is described as a Black male, between 30-35-years-old,
approximately 5'6" tall and medium built. The suspect was wearing a
blue ball cap, a ski mask, a long sleeve gray shirt, a pair of green
shorts, and light brown work boots. No injuries were reported.
