Arrests and incidents reported by police on April 10, 2008 ArrestsPossession of Marijuana, occurred on April 8, 2008, around 12:39 p.m. in
the 11800 block of Catoctin Drive in Lake Ridge. A patrol officer
observed a suspicious vehicle and stopped to investigate. Arrested was
Matthew Shane Gobell, 20, of Catoctin Drive, Lake Ridge, on the
charge. Gobell was released on a summons and has a court date of May
12, 2008.
Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana, occurred on April 10,
2008, around 12:17 a.m. in the area of London Place and Barnacle Place
in Woodbridge. Patrol officers responded to investigate a loud noise
complaint and arrested was Blythe Lowery Simmons, 19, of Milray
Drive, Dumfries on the charge. Bond information was not available and
Simmons has a court date of May 23, 2008.
Unlawful Entry, Destruction of Property, occurred on April 7, 2008,
around 8:00 a.m. in the 14300 block of Madrigal Drive in Woodbridge.
Arrested was Minkailu Sesay, 25, of Nadia Place, Woodbridge, on the
charges. Sesay is accused of forcing his way into an acquaintance's
house. Sesay was held on $2,000 bond and has a court date of May 12,
2008.
Incidents
Statutory Burglary, occurred on April 7, 2008, between 4:00-11:30 a.m.
in the 13300 block of Packard Drive in Dale City. A wallet and cash
were stolen from the victim's residence. Entry was gained by forcing
the rear sliding glass door opened.
Statutory Burglary, occurred between April 6, 2008, around 11:00 p.m.
and April 7, 2008, around 6:00 p.m. in the 13100 block of Canova Drive
in Manassas. Collector's coins were stolen from the victim's residence.
The total amount of the stolen property is $200. Entry was gained by
forcing a window opened.
Statutory Burglary, occurred between April 7, 2008, around 10:00 p.m.
and April 8, 2008, around 7:00 a.m. in the 13900 block of Flagtree Place
in Montclair. A lap top computer and equipment valued at $3,600 were
stolen from the victim's vehicle. The victim had parked his 1999,
Infinity, SUV, inside the garage. There were no signs of forced entry.
Grand Larceny of a Motorcycle, occurred between April 2, 2008, around
7:00 a.m. and April 9, 2008, around 6:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of
Ashmere Circle in Dumfries. A 2006, Suzuki, GSX-R100, motorcycle,
silver in color, valued at $8,500 was stolen. The victim had parked his
motorcycle in front of his residence.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between April 9, 2008, around 7:30 p.m.
and April 10, 2008, around 4:30 a.m. in the 13700 block of Mahoney Drive
in Woodbridge. A 1997, Honda, Civic, 4-door, silver in color, valued at
$4,000 was stolen. The victim had parked her vehicle in front of her
residence.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between April 4, 2008, around 10:00
a.m. and April 9, 2008, around 4;00 p.m. in the 18300 block of Cabin
Road in Triangle. A stereo system valued at $800 was stolen from a
2003, Land Rover, Discovery. The vehicle was left with the doors
unlocked.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between April 6, 2008, around 10:00
p.m. and April 7, 2008, around 6;45 a.m. in the 9300 block of
Worthington Drive in Bristow. A satellite radio, a GPS, a brief case,
cash, CD's, and a lap top computer valued at $3,575 were stolen from the
victim's vehicles. The victim had parked his vehicles in his drives.
There were no signs of forced entry.
