Robbery on Wadsworth Court in Annandale area
A 20-year-old Annandale man was robbed on Tuesday, Sept. 25 around 11:30 p.m., Fairfax County Police said.
According to investigators, the Annandale man was walking alone along a dark path in the 4000 block of Wadsworth Court when he noticed another man walking toward him. The man grabbed the victim by the shirt and pointed a gun at him.
Police said the gunman struck the victim on the head with the gun and demanded money. The victim handed over a small amount of money and the suspect struck him again, knocking him to the ground. The suspect went through the victim’s pockets, took more money and fled the area. The victim had minor injuries.
Police describe the suspect as black, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He wore a black baseball cap with a blue shirt and blue jeans.
