Man dies from Chantilly motorcycle crash

A 54-year-old man died on Oct. 2 after a 2003 Dodge Dakota crashed into a motorcycle he was driving.

Robert Knight was traveling north on Centreville Road on a motorcycle and Ashburn resident Alan Hensberger was traveling south in Dakota.

The two crashed around 5:21 a.m. when Hensberger didn't yield when making a left turn onto Less Corner Road, according to Fairfax County police.

Knight, a Bealton resident, was pronounced dead around noon that same day at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Hensberger was cited for not yielding on a left turn and was released on a summons.
